Robert McNair – Houston Texans (NFL)
McNair founded Houston NFL Holdings in 1998 and was dedicated to getting the NFL back to the city of Houston since the Oilers left town to become Tennessee Titans in 1996. On 6 October 1999, the NFL revealed that McNair had been awarded the 32nd NFL franchise. The team would become the Houston Texans, who began playing in 2002.
