On September 21, 2004, Spain’s Vicente Javier Torres competed in the Paralympic Games in the 150-meter individual medley. Torres’s performance was outstanding. When he jumped into the swimming pool and swam across the pool, Javier finished the race and won a silver medal even without a leg.
