Josh Duhamel – Football
Josh Duhamel initially dabbled with modeling, but it seems that acting has been more successful for him. Duhamel came from humble beginnings and attended Minot State University in North Dakota, where he played backup quarterback for the football team. He appeared on the popular television shows “All My Children” and “Las Vegas,” and later in his career, he became a well-known face on screen, best known for his roles in the “Transformers” film series “Life as We Know It” and “Love, Simon.” A 50% completion rate was achieved throughout his two seasons. He worked as a model after college until an agent approached him about acting opportunities, and the rest is history.
Steve Carell – Ice Hockey
Fans of Steve Carell are undoubtedly aware of his passion for hockey, but he was also an ice hockey player when he was younger. He played lacrosse and ice hockey in high school. He was a member of Burpee’s Seedy Theatrical Company while at Denison University, where he played goalie for the Big Red hockey team. Carell told ESPN that he needed to decide whether he wanted to play sports professionally or just as a hobby. He wanted to be a professional hockey player, but destiny had other ideas. He earned the title of “America’s Funniest Man” for his performance in “The Office,” for which he is best known.
