Labrador’s Recovery
In the meantime, Dr. Lewis reassured me that the Labrador was recovering well from the surgery, which brought a sense of relief. Knowing the dog was on the mend and would soon be ready to go home warmed my heart. While the mystery of the unexpected object lingered, the Labrador’s health and comfort were my top priorities. It felt good to know we were making real progress, and the journey to recovery was well underway.
Anticipation To Bring Him Home
I nodded, eager for the moment when I could see the brown Labrador again and take him home once he was ready to leave the clinic. The waiting had been tough, but the thought of him finally safe and comfortable made it all worthwhile. I pictured him curled up in his new bed, a world away from the swollen-faced dog I had first found. My heart was set on giving him a fresh start, in a place where he could feel secure and loved.
