Encountering Dr. Lewis
Dr. Lewis, the vet, soon entered the lobby and immediately noticed us, particularly the dog in my arms. He approached with a calm confidence and introduced himself warmly. Without hesitation, he took the Labrador from me and carefully carried it inside for a thorough examination. I felt a sense of relief knowing that Dr. Lewis was now in charge of the situation.
The Examination Commences
Sitting outside the exam room, I tried to calm my nerves, knowing Dr. Lewis was inside, carefully examining the swollen-faced dog. My mind raced with all sorts of possible scenarios, but none of them helped ease my anxiety. All I could do was wait and hope for good news. Time seemed to drag on as I sat there, growing more and more anxious.
