Gene Banks
Just like Christian Laettner, Gene Banks was also a Duke Basketball hero and had spent two seasons alongside Michael. Jordan Gene Banks played at the very beginning of Michael’s career in basketball. When they were part of the Chicago Bulls for two seasons, Banks managed to have an average score of 10 points and less than five rebounds per game. Banks was a key player for Michael for he was a reliable teammate. Those two seasons that Gene Banks had ended up to be his final ones alongside Michael Jordan.
Chris Whitney
Chris Whitney, an NBA journeyman, spent only one season together with MJ, but he made the most out of it. During the season in 2001-2002, Whitney displayed his athleticism in all his 82 games, starting in 81 of them. He averaged 10.2 points per game with a .406 from the three-point range. It is said that it was the only season apart from his 12 seasons in the NBA wherein Whitney averaged double figures in scoring. Maybe he’s trying to show off to Michael what skills he got?
