We chatted about just how birds are ready to defend their sphere of influence, and this one is not sparing the trail cam! It made the decision to get close and personal with this one, and decided to leave a simply amazing still picture for the researcher.

A Face-Off?
Even if we can’t exactly tell if they’re trying to hug or square up, these porcupines, it’s fascinating to see them trying to stand so intimately face-to-face. Lets hope they’re cordial, but breeding is not out of the question either, noting their different colors as well as sizes.
