The Crash
Unfortunately, there was not enough time for the pair to turn! This is the reason they rode off the hill and plunged into a ravine. Mikey shared that upon regaining consciousness, he did not have clue where he was. The only thing in sight was the sky and trees. They had landed in the middle of a dark forest, so he first had to orient himself. What made it so hard was that he lost his helmet and eyeglasses. On top of this, he could not move his left wrist. He and Stacey had felt disoriented, but luck had not abandoned them altogether. After all, Mikey found an object in his pocket that could get them out of there.

Injured And Slipping
Once Mikey regained consciousness, he quickly figured out that he was injured. “My back felt half broken. I couldn’t move and barely could pull myself up when I found a thick vine in the dark. Every move, I kept slipping,” he shared with CNN. According to him, it felt like he was on an incline of some sort. He had no idea what was going on around him since he was unable to see his surroundings.
