Mike Pence (Vice President) — $230,700

Vice President Mike Pence earns $230,700 a year, similar to his predecessor, Joe Biden. Since 2010, that amount hasn’t changed. In 2019, Pence was due for a slight raise which would’ve increased his pay to $243,500 annually but the bump never happened due to the government shutdown occurring at the time. Nevertheless, the veep has joked about being thrifty and said he purchases two for one suits, even with his respectable paycheck.

Mick Mulvaney (Acting Chief Of Staff) — $203,500

Another tough job that comes with a competitive salary is serving as the chief of staff to the president. Currently, very few White House employees get paid over $200,000 annually. Mick Mulvaney earns $203,500. Taking over in early 2019, Mulvaney is Trump’s third chief of staff since the President took office. In Obama’s White House, five different people took on the role in eight years, including Denis McDonough who made $176,461 in 2016.
