Mark, Kristopher’s best friend from his childhood, would be around for the weekend of Independence Day. Kristopher was so excited to see one of his best friends, they were finally going to be reunited after so long. He even asked his manager if he could take some time off work, he really just wanted to spend as much time as possible with Mark. Kristopher even made sure he had enough savings to ensure they would have a great time together. Mark had big plans for the two of them.

It was a really hot day, the area that Kristopher was living in had not experienced rain in roughly two months. But anyway, the two buddies pulled some deck chairs up and began chatting with each other. A few beers later, and Mark suggested that do something a little more entertaining. He had a sly look on his face and a grin which Kristopher knew exactly what it meant. He suggested that they set off “good ‘ole American fireworks.” Despite the fact that Kristopher was not fully into the idea, he decided to do it anyway.
