Fortunately, another one of Kristopher’s friends worked as a contractor, who said that the lawn was most probably in a bad condition, even before the accident happened. Sadly, with all the fire damage that had happened, no one could really prove this. One thing they did know for sure is that Patricia certainly did not need a fresh lawn, a mahogany fence, flowers, or beautiful cut hedges. So, Kristopher decided to get in touch with someone who was able to give him a reasonable price, instead of the quote Patricia gave him.

The next day, the contractor went to Patricia’s house. By while he was inspecting the damage, she interrupted them by yelling and throwing her arms in the air. She said, “I did not give you permission to get an estimate on my fence!” Kristopher was gobsmacked and replied, “The fence separates the property line, so it’s both of our fences.” What was quite interesting is the fact that she also asked for help from the cops!
