Remember, before NCIS came JAG. With a series ending as epic as The Sopranos, who could forget that coin toss that would determine whether Harm or Mac would give up their career to be with each other? Creator Donald Bellisario kept us hooked for ten seasons. Though, if you’re feeling a little nostalgic for this legal drama and its characters, we have all the updates you’ve been craving! CBS canceled the show back in 2005. So, now we checked in on our favorite cast members to see who continued acting, whose dating turned to marriage and everything in between.
David James Elliot
Since starring in JAG as Captain Harmon “Harm” Rabb Jr, this actor has continued to flourish. Immediately after his time as the captain, he moved onto a Canadian TV movie The Man Who Lost Himself with his old costar Nanci Chambers.
From there, he went on to star in a legal drama called Close to Home, another Canadian series The Guard, CSI and many films as well, such as portraying John Wayne in the film Trumbo. In addition, he guest starred on two episodes of Mad Men!
Patrick Labyorteaux
After his time as Captain Bud J. Roberts Jr., Labyorteaux also further pursued his acting career. Actually, many of his later roles were in cartoons. He lent his voice to numerous animated films and series, including Spider-Man: The Animated Series.
Together with TV producer wife Tina Albanese, he created and produced the Nick at Nite show See Dad. Though, he couldn’t say goodbye to Captain Bud until he appeared twice in the spin off, NCIS.
