Before her heart melting relationship with Michael Douglas, Zeta-Jones had a string of relationships in the early 90’s. With the TV personality John Leslie, the singer David Essex, and also the pop star Mick Hucknall. All of these relationships were heavenly reported by the British press. Especially when she became briefly engaged to Scottish actor Angus Macfadyen in the mid 90’s.

Just A Shy Kid
Just like any star, Zeta-Jones has a certain perceived media image. In 2004, she spoke to USA Weekend about how wrong the media really are, “The biggest misconception of me is that I’m some die-hard, ambitious, do-anything-to-get-anything kind of person, I’m not. I’m very shy socially.”
