Songs Were Cut
A handful of songs from the stage version of the film were actually cut from the film. Such as: “Those Magic Changes,” “Freddy, My Love” and “It’s Raining on Prom Night,” however, were played on a jukebox or by the prom band in the film instead.

The whole plastic wrap bit in the “Greased Lightning” scene was actually a symbol for condoms. Huh, go figure.
