The critics didn’t like Sandy’s leather pants in the carnival scene. The Today show’s Gene Shalit called it it “visual junk food,” the New Yorker said it was a “klutzburger,” and the New York Daily News’s reviewer said that it “should really be covered on the obituary page.” Yikes.
