How Not To Hold Your Makeup Brushes
This might not be a tip you think you need. I mean, who cares about how you hold a makeup brush, right? It doesn’t any difference to the overall product. Well, unfortunately that’s where you would be wrong. Let us explain.
Make sure to hold the very end of your makeup brush when applying foundation. While this may feel awkward or too loose of a grip, the soft touch it provides will result in a more natural/flawless finish.
Clean Your Makeup Brushes
Creamy foundation, black eyeliner, dark bronzer, rosy-red blush, these products (and many others) leave build up in your brushes. And the last thing you want is to apply bronzer, and notice tints of black all over your face.
To avoid this, use brush cleansers, soaps, and/or shampoo: simply pour one of the solution into a cup, swirl the brush to loosen the old makeup, rinse, swirl again, rinse, and swirl one last time. Sounds simple enough.
