Christina Ricci

Christina Ricci’s career really started when she was cast as Wednesday Addams and Casper’s teen friend in the awesome movie. She portrayed the role of a goth teen perfectly, what with her dark wardrobe and all. As an adult, she has kept a rather steady career, appearing in film and TV, although her goth fashion sense seems to have played an influence even now.

In 2006, Ricci was a guest star on the hit drama Grey’s Anatomy, she portrayed a paramedic and was even nominated for an Emmy Award for the role.

Gillian Anderson

Dana Scully, you are forever everyone’s ultimate bad a** scientist, FBI Agent and pant suit extraordinaire. The producer of The X-Files, Chris Carter, fought to ensure that Anderson play the lead role of Dana because for the first time in what seemed like a long time, they needed a strong, independent, intelligent woman. While other members wanted a woman with more sex appeal at the time, Anderson came out of top and it is a win richly deserved.

Since then, Anderson has won a Primetime Emmy Award, a Golden Globe Award and two Screen Actors Guild Awards; and she has gone on to land many leading roles in TV shows and films. Plus she’s highly active in charities and humanitarian organizations – the woman is perfect.
