Since then, her role in Brokeback Mountain earned her a Broadcast Film Critics Association Award and nominations for the SAG Award, BAFTA Award, Golden Globe, and Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. Her work after that in Blue Valentine earned her nominations for the Golden Globe Award and the Academy Award for Best Actress.
