John Travolta and Kelly Preston
Let’s kick off this list with Grease star, John Travolta, and his actress slash former model wife, Kelly Preston. Back in 1987, the pair met while filming the film The Experts, got hitched just four years later and even had two wedding ceremonies; one traditional and the other a Scientology ceremony.
Most of us know that Travolta and Preston have three children together, sadly their eldest son Jett passed away at just age 16 in 2009. After some 20 years together, the couple are still going strong!
Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart
Ugh, these two together are just sweet perfection. Harrison and Calista first met back at the 2002 at Golden Globe Awards ceremony and five years later, during Valentine’s Day weekend, he popped the question. A year later and they tied the knot, by 2011 they adopted Liam, their son.
Together this couple has earned many acting awards, but it’s their life goals that keep them close than ever. Now here’s a Hollywood love story that’s #relationshipgoals through and through!
Dustin and Lisa Hoffman
As if the legendary Dustin Hoffman needs an introduction, he is often considered as one of the finest actors in history, people. In October 1980, he married the businesswoman Lisa Gottsegen Hoffman and they have four children together.

Jack Nicholson and Sandra Knight
From 1962 to 1968, Jack Nicholson was married to Sandra Knight, an actress, painter, and writer. Together they have one daughter together, Jennifer. Although, they were separated for two years before their divorce was official.
Sandra Knight later married John Stephenson but their marriage date has been kept under wraps. Knight is 78 years old and she has moved out of the spotlight – there’s nothing wrong with that.
Warren Beatty and Annette Bening
First of all, Warren Beatty is one ~the~ greatest actors and filmmakers out there, oh yeah, he’s also a brilliant director and producer. Prior to his marriage to Annette Bening, Warren was known as quite the ladies man. Moreover, Carly Simon’s hit song “You’re So Vain” is about her former lover. Beatty and Bening have been married since 1992, 24 years now (!), and have four kids together. Recently Beatty said, “The most important thing that’s ever happened — the best thing that’s ever happened to me — was Annette and having four kids.”
Beatty and Bening have been married since 1992, 24 years now (!), and have four kids together. Recently Beatty said, “The most important thing that’s ever happened — the best thing that’s ever happened to me — was Annette and having four kids.”
Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward
Known as one of Hollywood’s favorite all time couples, Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward were together 50 whole years until Paul’s death in 2008. After meeting on set of The Long Hot Summer in 1953, they married just five years later and had three daughters.
Back when dating online wasn’t even a thought, these two proved over and over the true strength of love. Woodward was nominated for three awards for her performance in Empire Falls in 2015.
Clint Eastwood and Maggie Johnson
No need for free online dating services because Clint Eastwood and Maggie Johnson were set up on a blind date! My how the times have changed. Not long after and the pair tied the knot in beautiful Hawaii in 1953.
Following 31 years of marriage, the pair separated and have two children together. Unfortunately, their split was fueled by Eastwood’s infidelity. It took them from 1978 to 1984 to get their divorce finalized.
Sean Connery and Micheline Roquebrune
While at a golf tournament in Morocco, Connery, Sean Connery (sorry but that was necessary) met his future -second- wife, Micheline. While he was getting a drink shaken, not stirred… okay, that’s the last one.
In 1975, the pair got married in a secret ceremony in beautiful Casablanca. And you guessed it, they are still together to this day! Love like that is what I dream about!
Robert Redford and Lola Van Wagenen
Picture this: you meet your wife of 30 years because you both live in the exact same building. Cute, right? We think so. It also kind of makes it more likely since people weren’t using online dating profiles and apps.
1958 was the year they tied the knot, have four children together, but in 1985, they got divorced. Both have since happily remarried.
Elvis and Priscilla Presley
The King met Priscilla in 1959 when she was just 14 years old, but he was smitten with her! For seven years, they dated and in 1967, they got married. Just nine months later, and their daughter entered the world.
After some ups and downs, the couple decided that it would be best to get divorced in 1973. Sadly in 1977, Elvis Presley, the king of rock ‘n roll, passed away.
William and Elizabeth Shatner
Captain James T. Kirk, err William Shatner married his fourth wife back in 2001 and the couple are still going strong. Elizabeth is a photographer and in 2004, she helped co-wrote a song on Shatner’s album Has Been, titled “Together”.
If you didn’t think she was a pretty awesome woman already, then let us inform you that she is also a horse trainer. How cool is that?!
Michael Douglas and Diandra Luker
Long before the great Michael Douglas married the insanely beautiful and talented, Catherine Zeta-Jones, he was actually married for 23 years to Diandra Luker. Michael and Diandra got divorced in 1995 and have a son together, Cameron.
Diandra Luker, who is a film producer, received something like $45 million in a settlement for her divorce from Michael Douglas. He apparently was willing to give her anything in order to marry the new love of his life.
Michael and Shakira Caine
Hey now, as far as legendary actors go, Michael Caine ranks high on that list and always will. Caine married his second wife Shakira back in 1973, and the pair are still going strong to this day. Michael and Shakira said that after 43 years of marriage, they learned that the secret to success was for each to have their own space!
Good use of advice, we’d say, especially in the dating online world. You would never have guessed that Shakira Caine is 70 years old! Talk about aging really well.
Robert De Niro and Diahnne Abbott
1976 is when “The Godfather” married the singer and actress Diahnne Abbott. In their 12 years of marriage, they had a son together, Raphael. However they have been divorced since 1988. While Robert has been remarried since 1997, Diahnne is leading life under the radar.
The last time we got to see Diahnne Abbott on the big screen was back in 2002 where she played “Leah” in the film, Soliloquy. Maybe she’ll resurface, but at this point I guess we don’t know.
Bruce Springsteen and Julianne Phillips
During the Born in the U.S.A. Tour, “The Boss” met the former actress Julianne Phillips, and in 1985, they got hitched. Julianne Phillips has worked as a model as well, and there’s no surprise why.
Sadly after just four years,Bruce Springsteen and Phillips called it quits. Springsteen has since remarried while not much is known about Phillips. We just hope she’s happy.
Michael J. Fox and Tracy Pollan
While filming the hit series Family Ties back in the 80’s, Michael J.Fox met his future wife, Tracy Pollan, who portrayed his girlfriend, Ellen. Not long after and they would met again on yet another set, this time on Bright Lights, Big City but this time around, they began a relationship. 1988, at West Mountain Inn in Arlington, Vermont, they tied the knot.
Four children later and the pair are still going strong – #relationshipgoals anyone? They surely teach us a thing or two about “dating online” now don’t they?
Jeff Bridges and Susan Geston
It was while the incredible Jeff Bridges was filming Rancho Deluxe back in 1974, that he met his future wife Susan Geston. Now Geston was working as waitress and maid at the time but Bridges fell head over heels in love, AWW. By 1977, the pair married and currently have three daughters.
In his most recent Oscar win, he said in his speech, “I especially want to thank my gorgeous wife, Sue. We’ve been married 33 years. We have a beautiful family, three girls, Isabelle, Jessie and Haley. Thank you guys, I wouldn’t be up here without you.”

Back when Mel Gibson was starting out as an actor, he met Robyn, a dental nurse. At a Roman Catholic church in Australia in 1980, Mel and Robyn got married and have since welcomed a daughter and six sons to the world together! However after 26 years together, they got divorced and the settlement deal Robyn was paid one of the highest in Hollywood history, at just over $400 million.
I guess it doesn’t matter who you are, when the love runs out there’s nothing you can do. But having another woman pregnant in the picture probably also has its firm impact on a marriage.
Mark Hamill and Marilou York
Mark Hamill, A.K.A. Luke Skywalker, married Marilou York, a dental hygienist, in December 1978. Furthermore, the couple have three children together and their oldest, Nathan, was actually born during production of The Empire Strikes Back.
So he landed a cameo appearance just like that as a one Royal Guard of Naboo in Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace. This is a cute couple.
Chuck Norris and Gena O’Kelley
Despite a 23-year age difference, Chuck and Gena are total soulmates. On November 28, 1998, martial artist extraordinaire Norris married his second wife, the former model, and the pair have twins, a boy and a girl, together. Although both Chuck and Gena have children outside of their marriage as well.
It must take something really special to be able to marry Chuck Norris. I mean, this is the guy who threw a grenade, killed 50 people and then it exploded.
Sylvester Stallone and Brigitte Nielsen
Rocky Balboa married the model and actress Brigitte Nielsen back in 1985, Brigitte was his second wife. Stallone and Nielsen’s marriage, however only lasted two years, and their subsequent divorce was insanely publicized by the press.
Currently Brigitte is on husband number five while Stallone has been married to his third wife since 1997. At least no-one is keeping a tab on these two.
Richard Gere and Cindy Crawford
When it comes to gorgeous Hollywood couples, these two are no exception. Richard Gere, a brilliant actor and activist, was married to the incredible supermodel Cindy Crawford from 1991 to 1995. Both have since remarried and neither one needs to consult free online dating services like ever.
Is it surprising that both of Crawford’s children have gone into the modelling industry? She seems very down-to-earth and even made a truthful statement that we can all relate to – “Even I don’t wake up looking like Cindy Crawford.”
Michael York and Patricia McCallum
English actor Michael York met Patricia McCallum, a photographer, back in 1967 when she was hired to photograph him! Definitely didn’t need dating online to snag their love story. A year later and they got hitched, on York’s 26th birthday no less.

Jeff Goldblum and Geena Davis
Geena Davis is a multi-talented woman with her hand in acting, film producing, writing, voice acting, modelling and even taking part in archery. We can definitely understand how Jeff Goldblum fell in love with her.
But we guess this was on of those “blink and miss” Hollywood relationships. From 1987 to 1990, Jeff Goldblum and Geena Davis were husband and wife. They fell in love when they starred alongside one another in three films: Transylvania 6-5000, The Fly, and Earth Girls Are Easy. And yes, both have since remarried.

Antonio Banderas and Melanie Griffith
When it comes to Hollywood’s love success stories, everyone believed that Antonio Banderas and Melanie Griffith would always make the cut. With a passion as deep as they had, it seemed possible, I mean Melanie even has a tattoo of Banderas’ name on her right arm.
From 1995 while shooting Two Much, the pair have been together but most sadly, in 2015, their divorce was finalized. There’s a lesson about tattooing names into your skin.

Wayne Gretzky and Janet Jones
Wayne Gretzky in case you forgot is the former ice-hockey legend who met his beautiful wife, Janet Jones, when he was served as a judge on the TV show, Dance Fever. 1988, just two years after they met, Wayne proposed and their wedding as often been referred to as ‘The Royal Wedding’.

Name me a more gorgeous couple in Hollywood right now! I know, pretty darn difficult, right? Australian actor, Chris Hemsworth, met Spanish model-turn-actress, Elsa Pataky, through mutual representatives and not dating online. Jean-Claude Van Damme and Darcy LaPier
In 1992, Jean-Claude Van Damme began an affair with the actress Darcy LaPier, although he was married and had two kids already. It wasn’t the best pretense to a marriage, but the two of them did it.

In January 2009, Hugh Hefner began dating Crystal Harris, a model, DJ, and TV personality. Harris is Hefner’s third wife. When they got hitched in 2012, he was 86 and she was 26. But when there’s true love, numbers mean nothing… when it’s true love, right.
Their marriage ended in September 2017 when Hugh Hefner passed away. There is a lot of question about what the Playboy king left to his most recent wife, but those questions haven’t turned up with any answers.

Bad boy, or at least that’s how he’s viewed in Hollywood. How on Earth would any Hollywood list be complete without seeing Johnny Depp’s name up there? In 1983 Depp married makeup artist Lori Anne Allison in 1983, but their marriage would only last two years.
