Marie Antoinette was the last Queen of France prior to the French Revolution. In 1793, she was convicted for high treason and was sent to the guillotine for execution.
After she accidentally stepping on her executioner’s foot while she climbed the scaffold to the guillotine, she reportedly said: “Pardon me. I didn’t do it on purpose.”
Rock Hudson
This actor is known as the leading man of the 50s and 60s and is often considered as a prominent actor and ‘heartthrob’ of the Hollywood Golden Age.
At the age of 59, Hudson died in his sleep from AIDS-related complications. His final words were, “No. I don’t believe so,” to his partner, Tom Clark, who asked if Hudson wanted another cup of coffee.
