Harriet Tubman
Harriet Tubman was a woman of great faith and a fighter the world of that time had never seen the likes of. She was never the type to fret over cosmetic surgery because she was a champion fighter against slavery and that is far more impressive than anything plastic surgeons could ever do.
She passed away when she reached her 90’s. Her final words were while surrounded by family as they sang, “Swing low, sweet chariot.”
Huddie William Ledbetter
Nicknamed “Lead Belly”, Ledbetter was quite the extraordinaire folk and blues musician. He has extraordinary strong vocals, incredible talent on the twelve-string guitar, and he introduced many to the era of folk music.
From “Where Did You Sleep Last Night” to “Midnight Special” he had hits that will forever influence music. His final words were, “Doctor, if I put this here guitar down now, I ain’t never gonna wake up.” And he was right.
