Margaret Sanger, known as a birth control advocate, is famous for opening up the very first birth control clinic in America. Sanger was not only a birth control activist, but a sex educator, author and nurse.
She founded the organizations that eventually evolved into Planned Parenthood. On her deathbed, she uttered her last words, “A party! Let’s have a party.”
