David Duchovny

Spooky Mulder was a very intelligent man in the popular and addictive show The X Files, and that definitely extends to the man who portrayed him. Duchovny has earned a B.A. in English Literature from Princeton University and an M.A. in English Literature from Yale University. I suddenly feel inferior, the man went to Princeton and Yale after all. Oh yeah, did we forget to mention he’s not just an actor but also a musician and published author of two books. Yeah, I know, very impressive.

Mayim Bialik

She’s more than just an actress portraying a science genius on the popular TV show, The Big Bang Theory, she’s a genius in real life. She started her acting career as a child and her claim to fame was as the teen star of NBC’s ’90s hit Blossom. Later, she took time off from acting and attended UCLA, where she completed a triple major (Hebrew, Jewish Studies and neuroscience) for her undergrad degree. That’s right, a triple major, that’s freaking impressive to say the least. She didn’t stop there though. In 2008, Bialik went on to earn a Ph.D in neuroscience from the school. Her dissertation, you may wonder is an interesting read titled, “Hypothalamic Regulation In Relation to Maladaptive, Obsessive-Compulsive, Affiliative, and Satiety Behaviors in Prader-Willi Syndrome.” Let that sink in.
