Jarran Reed
After Reed made less than $2 million the past year, he is in line for a huge boost to his salary. As a defensive tackle, he had 10.5 sacks in 2018, and even though he had less than stellar sack numbers in 2019, he is still a great player against the run. Seattle is planning to rebuild its defense to make it an elite unit, so it can’t really afford to let Reed walk. (Prediction: Seattle Seahawks)
Philip Rivers
The best quarterback who has never played in a Super Bowl, Rivers has a career that is chock-full of personal accomplishments. However, it is also clear that he is not the player that he once was. Aside from causing turnovers at an alarmingly high rate, Rivers just does not have enough zip to push the ball downfield properly. In addition, he and his family are deeply rooted in San Diego, so the 38-year-old will likely choose to hang up his cleats, retiring to his lovely Southern California abode. (Prediction: Retires)
