Byron Jones

This one is somewhat a no-brainer. Rumblings suggest Dallas is not offering Jones an extension (because of the potential Dak Prescott contract). Last offseason, Houston lost Kareem Jackson to Denver. In addition, current starters Bradley Roby and Johnathan Joseph will both be walking in free agency after this current season. Therefore, Houston will do everything possible to sign the player who is perceived as the best defensive back by many in the free agent group. (Prediction: Houston Texans)

Melvin Gordon

Melvin Gordon hasn’t really looked great this year after he held out for a contract extension which never came. While that’s not to say that getting back to Pro Bowl level is impossible for him, the Chargers seem content with Austin Ekeler, the cheaper option. Catching passes out of the backfield is something Gordon can do well, and with the Chiefs needing a lead running back, it seems Kansas City is a perfect fit for this potential marriage. (Prediction: Kansas City Chiefs)
