When the Discovery Channel special Eaten Alive aired, fans were furious when Paul Rosolie was face-to-face with a 20-foot anaconda. For months on end, the network said he would get eaten alive, but he was rescued by a team several hours later. However, the snake did swallow his head and nearly broke his arm. The network faced plenty of backlash for this.
