Swamp People Legal Woes
The show is about the daily lives of alligator hunters in Louisiana. It might seem like a wild ride but wait until you hear just what their lives are like off the screen. Chase Landry, Nick Payne, and Jay Paul all have their own legal battles. However, Trapper Joe Lafont has the most serious one. He has a history of domestic abuse that started in 2012 and happened again in 2013 and 2015.
Changes Out Of Nowhere
TV shows, particularly reality shows, always have the risk of changes. It is very rare for a show to keep going with no changes along the way. After its sixth season, Swamp People got a massive change. The shift began when a dozen cast members got replaced very quickly. The History Channel did not reveal the reason behind this choice either. Fans only found out about it during the 7th season premiere!
