Sally had an endless option of dog breeds that she could bring home with her. She could have chosen toy poodles or other designer crossbreeds for her family. Instead, she decided to have a Puli. A lot of people would spend a ton of money to get their dream designer breeds with some costing thousands of dollars for a single dog. Sally wasn’t attracted to the status of owning a dog breed. She was sure she wanted something uncommon.

One of the distinguishing characteristics of a Puli is its unusual coat. Their fur takes the appearance of tight curls similar to dreadlocks and could be mistaken as matted fur. Despite their rugged physical appearance, the Hungarian sheepdogs are an incredibly loving and sweet-tempered breed. Aside from their charming nature, a Puli is an extremely dynamic breed that calls for tons of exercise and activity.
