Removing The Animal
Once a possum attaches itself to something, it’s really latched itself on. But for this abandoned baby possum, the whole situation was too much and too tiring that it eventually released its hold. The rescue workers gently freed the possum out of Kato’s coat and safely into their arm. Sally believed that the possum would be safe at the hands of the rescue workers and would survive even though it was extremely tired.

Sally shared a post on her Facebook page detailing the turn of events and that she had high hopes for the possum’s survival. She saw the abandoned creature just at the right time. She also shared her belief that it was probably abandoned since it was too young to leave its mother but that the instinct to find safety led it to reach for Kato’s fur. The baby possum was lucky to have chosen a Puli as its temporary mother.
