While he was at NYMA, Trump was a player on the football time. His love for sports is part of the reason Trump owns his own football team in the future. He attempted to run a separate American football league that would compete with the National Football League.

This is another picture that Trump shared to his Facebook page, writing, “#TBT Myself with mother and father at New York Military Academy. See, I can be very military. High rank!” Even though he’s boasted about being “very military”, Trump has gotten five draft deferments from serving in the army during Vietnam. Four of them were for his time during college. The fifth one was for a medical diagnosis of bone spurs in his heels. Recently, this diagnosis has come under scrutiny. According to the daughter of the podiatrist who diagnosed Trump, the bone spurs diagnosis was a “favor” to Fred Trump. Why? Because Fred was the podiatrist’s landlord.
