Well, there has been a lot of debate about separating the art and the artist, though fans of David Gulpilil will likely be in the ‘pro’ camp. He played Neville Bell in Crocodile Dundee and it was clear to all of the viewers that he was one talented actor. He actually enjoyed plenty of success later on, appearing in movies such as Charlie’s Country and The Proposition. However, we should not disregard the fact that he has run into some problems with the authorities and he was once arrested for domestic abuse. Yikes.
