Many fans felt that the NFL was the clear-cut winner, but the AFL proved everyone wrong by dominating from the first play. The game was held in New Orleans’ Tulane Stadium and was remembered for being extremely muddy. #3 Jan Stenerud was elected into the Hall of Fame in 1991 after his performance in this game.
