Played by Lauren Tom, Julie was Ross’s girlfriend at the start of the second season. Things got rather serious between the two; they even intended on adopting a cat. The couple first met in grad school, but ran into each other at a dig Ross participated in and started dating. It was clear that Rachel didn’t like Julie, but Rachel denies it. When Julie takes Monica out shopping, Rachel really gets upset since she feels like Julie is stealing everyone from her. However, things take a turn when Rachel admits her feelings for Ross.

Bonnie Somerville as Mona
Mona is played by Bonnie Somerville. Mona was Ross’s girlfriend in season 8. The two began dating soon after Ross found out Rachel was pregnant with his baby. Things got heated when Ross asked Rachel to move in with him because of the baby. That’s when Mona broke up with him. It’s not all that surprising, seeing as Ross kept forgetting about dates with Mona every time Rachel was having any sort of pregnancy issue.
