Honorable Man
Forrest Gump gains a substantial amount of money after he endorses ping pong paddles and he uses it to honor his deceased friend Bubba. He purchases a shrimp point which he names after Bubba and himself. Back in 1995, this Bubba Gump Shrimp Company became a reality, in Monterey, California. The restaurant was very successful and expanded to 10 locations across the world today.

There are so many subtle details thrown into Forrest Gump that you probably won’t notice unless you have seen the movies so many times. However, next time you’re watching lookout for Tom Hank’s eyes who are always open when he plays ping pong. When Forrest first learns to play ping-pong, a solider tells him to keep his on the ball. Forrest takes this very literally and does not blink from then on.
