Too Much To Drink

If you have a few drinks in the air and some before take off, you’re in for a fun ride on the plane. Will the crew take action against you if you’re drunk? Not necessarily. While the crew does need to count the number of drinks you’ve had, they won’t monitor you beyond that if you remain jovial and pleasant. However, if your drunk self has a hint of belligerence, the pilot has the authority to handcuff you for the duration of the flight and when on the ground, a police officer will escort you to security, where you can serve up to two years in prison. Remember to drink responsibly!

Probation Period

If you’re thinking about being a flight attendant, be aware that you will be on a strict probation period the first six moths of the job. It’s not uncommon for flight attendants to be fired for the smallest things like wearing their uniform sweater tied around their waist! We have a juicy story for you too: one flight attendant lied about having passed the probation period so she could fly home gratis! Once they found out, she was let go. It’s not the most forgiving job field, either. When an attendant calls in sick, they are prohibited from flying on the flight they were supposed to work on and can’t even board any other airline as a passenger! They risk immediate termination if they break this rule.
