Listen Up
Those instructions at the beginning of the flight are vital to making sure the flight takes off smoothly. Everything from the buckling reminders to securing your tray table are necessary to ensure a safe fight. The crew members are not just telling you for safety purposes. It’s illegal for passengers to ignore these safety protocols. By law, the plane can’t take off if a passenger chooses to not follow the instructions. The captain can decide if a passenger disobeying the rules will be taken off the flight and sent to police at the gate.
Remain Seated
Just like in any other industry, there are things passengers do that get under the crew’s skin. One of the biggest annoyances? When passengers race to exit the plane when it first touches the ground. This is a very inappropriate and unsafe thing to do, and it’s a really great way to get on the crew’s bad side. It’s always best to unbuckle when the plane is at the appropriate gate and of course, when the fasten seat belt sign is off. Safety first!
