If she wanted her dreams to be a reality, she had to start afresh. It was why she decided to move to Denver, Colorado. After some soul-searching in 2015, she accepted a job offer. This was how she started working in the field of commercial construction as an integrated service manager for GE Johnson.

Katie was full of hope with her decision. It was now time for her to make her dreams come true. She bought a ‘fixer-upper’ house with 4 bedrooms. It needed renovations, and she planned to do it all by herself. She said, “The house I bought would require extensive work to transform into my vision and most of which I would have to do myself in order to afford it.” She also told a friend that the place was meant for ‘more,’ but she did not know yet what this meant.
