Salad Dressings
Putting salad dressings or vinaigrette in the refrigerator is quite common for people. Research, however, shows that there is no real benefit if you do this. There are two main components of the salad dressing-oil and vinegar, none of which requires refrigeration. However, if the dressing is your own creation, you are likely to use some nut oil, garlic, or fruit juice, and these ingredients need to be refrigerated.
Salad
If you have a dash of vinegar or an oil salad, even if it is not refrigerated, it is fully capable of withstanding a long period of time. Sounds crazy, doesn’t it? Nonetheless, if you have a mayo or yogurt base in your salad, you need to cool it down.
