Weed When Wet
If you have tried to lift weeds from the dry ground, you will know that it can be tough. Dry ground does not give easily, so you need a lot of luck to pull out the weeds from the roots. Most people prefer to tug at weeds when the ground is wet or damp. Head to the garden after rain or first drench the soil using a hose before you start your mission. This way, the job is going to be a lot easier and more satisfying!
Brew Fertilizer Tea
Weeds are not only annoying, but they can also interfere with the way the plants are growing. On top of this, the nutrients from the soil go to them instead of the plants. When you pull them out and throw them away, you are also throwing away the nutrients. This can be avoided! You should place the weeds into a bucket full of water after pulling them out. Wait a couple of hours, dispose of the weeds, and pour the soiled water onto your plants. When you do this, you are giving the nutrients back to the soil!
