Her rings were customized for her by a friend. They were also soldered around her neck. However, they had a special screw so they could be taken apart in case of medical emergencies. To Sydney, the rings were permanently attached.

About the process of putting the rings on around her neck, Sydney had said it was done in a safe matter. However, she did manage to get a little burned. She also thinks her neck is about 10-11 inches long and she was as grateful as she could be for her rings.
