Clara Hughes

Only a few are blessed with talent to compete in the Olympics, let alone claim victory. Hughes, however, is so talented her athletic career is highlighted with Olympic medals in two sports. At the 1996 Olympics, she claimed two bronze medals in road cycling and in 2006, Hughes was busy winning a gold medal in speed skating. The talented Canadian has two medals in road cycling and four speed skating medals. She has been given a number of Honorary Doctorates of Law (U of Victoria, University of Manitoba), and has been inducted into Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame.

Allyson Felix

34-year-old Allyson Felix remains a competitive sprinter. A product of Los Angeles, Felix claimed her first gold at the 2008 Olympics in the 4×400 m relay. In 2012, aside from Felix and her teammates winning in the 4×400 once again, she won gold in the 4×100 m relay and the 200 m. At Rio 2016, she added two more golds with her victories in the relay races. In November 2018, she had her first child, but only eight months later, she was already back to competitive racing. Leaving Nike behind, Felix became first sponsored athlete of Athleta.
