Jay-Z – 21 Wins
For someone who’s dissed the Grammys in a song, Jay-Z definitely has had a lot of success at the awards ceremonies in the past. He has won 21 Grammys to date, tying with Kanye West. His first Grammy win was in 1999 for his album “Vol. 2…Hard Knock Life”. It wasn’t until 2004 that he would win another Grammy, but since then, he’d been a steady victor, winning at least one Grammy a year from 2007 to 2015. Overall, the rapper had been nominated 60 times.
Beyoncé – 24 Wins
Beyonce holds the second-most wins by a female artist, with 24 Grammy wins. Aside from all her wins, Beyonce has been nominated for Grammys 70 times – more than any other female artist. All her Grammy wins have come since the year 2000 when she first won as part of the iconic group, Destiny’s Child. However, she’s made a name for herself since then. In 2010, she made history when she won six Grammys in one night. And, since 2015, she’d been nominated for no less than 21 Grammys, winning seven of them.
