No one has more Grammys than the Hungarian conductor, Georg Solti. He’s currently the only artist who’s ever passed the 30-win mark. He’s been nominated for (and won) his first Grammy in 1963 and simply kept on collecting them after that. With a total of 74 nominations, he’s won the Grammy for classical album of the year six times and for best opera recording eight times. His very last win was in 1998, a year after his death in 1997 at the age of 84.
