Extra Sneaker Holes
Those extra holes serve a purpose. If your sneakers are too big, you might get blisters wearing them. To avoid this and make your shoes fit better, slide the shoelace in the extra hole that is opposite it. A loop will be created and gives you a tighter lock, known as the “lace lock” or the “heel lock”.

Measuring Tape Metal
There is a small piece of metal at the end of a measuring tape. You can wrap the small slot around a nail so that the tape stays in place if no one can hold the tape for you. Aside from that, the serrated edge can be used to mark the surface.
