The fox approached them warily. It seemed like it was not strong enough to make it to the boat on its own just yet. This was why Allan helped it get onto the boat. Finally, they were seeing some progress.

The boat was safer than the iceberg, but the animal panicked and then jumped right into the water. The fishermen watched it swim and try to go back to the iceberg. They followed it until it got too tired.
