We already know that the United States has a penchant for putting itself in dangerous waters. Case in point? The Iran-Iraq War. The government urged the rest of the world not to sell Iran weapons, even though the USA helped Iraq. However, there is something even more damning than that. It was later revealed that Americans were actually covertly selling weapons to Iran as well!

Sure, it’s not a verified fact, though research shows that Iranians have been playing the sport all the way back to the 6th century B.C. It was largely attributed to the training the citizens underwent to join the cavalry.
