World Record Flight
El Al, Israel’s national airline, holds the world record for carrying the most passengers on a commercial plane. This was accomplished during the time of “Operation Solomon,” when they transported Ethiopian Jews from Ethiopia in the year 1991. Interestingly, two babies were welcomed into the world on the Boeing 747.

Doggy Cemetery
You know what they say, dogs are a man’s best friend. This appears to have been true for thousands of years! You can find the oldest dog cemetery in Ashkelon, Israel. The dog remains discovered here are believed to have come from the 3rd to the 5th centuries.
