Barbara Eden Got Along With The Lion
Can you believe that there was a real lion on the set?! Apparently, Barbara was good at dealing with the animal. She told Hagman that he should “stand very still” and let the lion get a whiff of him. Next, he should “lean forward very, very gingerly and stroke him as gently as you can.” It is said that Hagman replied, “I’m not making friends with any [bleeping] lion!” Even though the lead actress and the massive creature got along just fine, the lion roared as soon as Hagman entered the set for taping.

The Difference Between Two Seasons
The audience only got to hear the iconic theme song of the show when the second season came out. This was not the only difference between the first two seasons, however. For one thing, the second one was shot in color! The first one was shot in black and white, so it must have been quite jarring. Aside from that, the producers of the show played around with their options until they decided on a song.
