She portrays a Jewish character named Sloane in one of the most well-known TV shows she’s appeared in, This is Us. “She has a knack for making her wishes come true. Sure, she’s had some setbacks and let her emotions get the best of her, but we’ve all been there,” she said. For Milana, the Christmas/Hanukkah episode was particularly poignant. She claims that she only got to learn about Passover from Rugrats, a popular cartoon from the 1990s. For many people these days, the This Is Us episode has become the Rugrats. “I’ve had a teacher tweet at me saying she’s going to use the scene in her classroom,” she said.

Californication 2014
Milana was cast in the hugely popular show Californication in 2014. Even though it was only for one episode, it was a chance for her to shine on a larger stage. David Duchovny was the star of Californication, and when Milana got the small part, she said she loved every minute of it, especially the part where she got to work with David Duchovny himself. She’s a major admirer of the actor’s work on the X-Files, it did turn out.
