Rose’s beauty mark changes sides
There were numerous difficulties in filming Titanic and getting it correct because the ship needed to appear to be moving in the right direction. Many of the shots had to be reversed to show correctly, which created a new set of issues. One of them is that Rose’s beauty mark shifts from one side to the other. Another error that occurred as a result was seeing a crank camera that was left-handed. They didn’t create those in 1912 since the most of photographers were right handed and it made more sense to cater to the majority of them.

Titanic is a love story involving two people from extremely different social backgrounds. Jack is a working-class boy who earns his ticket on the fateful ship in a poker game, whereas Rose is from the privileged upper class and is bound by a slew of society standards and expectations. Rose’s mother is constantly reminding others of upper-class decorum, therefore it’s odd that she would break one of the most crucial norms. We’re guessing the production staff forgot that it was totally forbidden for ladies to wear gloves while dining. Perhaps it was just cold on set…
